About Tammy Ahern

Life is sweet at Tammy's Cake Walk ever since I decided to turn my love for cake decorating into a full-time profession. Originally from Virginia, I ran a small cake decorating business for about 15 years before expanding it to it's present scale in 2008.
I operate my business out of The Lizzie Rose Tea Shop in Tuckerton, NJ.
I first got involved in cake decorating in the 80's, studying the techniques of the Amy Malone School of Cake Decorating, which was located in Falls Church, VA. at the time and is now based in San Diego, CA.
I later studied advanced cake decorating techniques at the French Culinary Institute and went on to The Institute of Culinary Education, where I was very fortunate to have studied under Master Chef, cake artist and author Toba Garrett.
My hobby: Learning to play my acoustic elecgtric violin and all things Boise State Football!
